Welcome to the home page of Prairie Avenue Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, in Decatur, Illinois, a Christian witness in the Decatur area since 1924. The church is conveniently located on the south east corner of 22nd Street and Prairie Avenue on Decatur's east side. We have two worship services on Sunday morning in our sanctuary. The schedule is as follows:

9:00 A.M. Traditional Service-

Our traditional service incorporates traditional hymns, a choral anthem from P.A.C.C. Singers, relevant message, communion service, and music from our 13 rank pipe organ. It is approximately one hour in length. Childcare is provided in our nursery during this time.

11:00 A.M. Casual Service

Our casual service incorporates contemporary praise music and choruses led by our Casual Praise Team, a relevant message, and communion service. You are invited to come as you are and be who you are. It is approximately a half hour in length. Children are invited to join us at this service.

10:15 A.M. Sunday School

Educational opportunities and experiences abound in our regular Sunday School program. It is open to all ages. Join us for discussion, fellowship, and a deepening spiritual walk.
